What is a DTI MRI

DTI stands for Diffusion Tensor Imaging and it is the most widely accepted MRI modality for reconstructing brain fiber pathways. Various studies have shown that it is a reliable way of white matter bundle reconstruction.

In their study at 2012, Magnotta et al has shown that the variability for different acquisition sites and different machines is less than %1 percent1.
